We’re Pablo and Louise – the Italo-Brit combo behind The Italian Project. I’m Pablo, the overly passionate (some say dramatic) Italian husband from beautiful Tuscany, now living in the UK. And Louise? She’s the wife – a proud Brit who swore she’d follow her Italian man anywhere… even if it meant enduring endless monologues about proper espresso, al dente pasta, and why Parmigiano deserves its own holiday.
Over the years, Louise has gifted me hilarious personalized presents quoting all the ridiculous, overly emotional and extremely accurate things I’ve said about food, wine, family and of course, how nobody makes carbonara like it should be.
And guess what? That’s exactly what inspired this store.
The Italian Project is all about celebrating – and poking fun at – the lovable madness that is being Italian (especially in an Italo-American family).
